Never has the achievement of workplaces free from bias, pay inequality and glass ceilings for young women seemed more relevant. Last year, we launched national Dads4Daughters Day on 15th March and we were delighted that approximately fifty schools up and down the country celebrated with us, alongside big City organisations such as UBS, Aviva and Spencer Stuart. On this day, we asked fathers of daughters everywhere to pledge themselves to achieving greater gender equality in the workplace – the future workplace of their daughter – by taking our unconscious bias test. Over 9,400 people have taken our test so far. For fathers this presents an ideal opportunity to commit to improving workplace culture for your daughter and celebrate modern fatherhood. Please do take the test again and renew your pledge. It is never too late to commit to micro-actions which will challenge implicit bias in the workplace.
We are thrilled to be collaborating with UNWomen’s HeForShe movement as well as the Girls’ Schools Association and Association of State Girls’ Schools.
