Never has the achievement of workplaces free from bias, pay inequality and glass ceilings for young women seemed more relevant. To this end approximately fifty schools up and down the country celebrated national Dads4Daughters Day on the 15th March, alongside big City organisations including UBS, Aviva and Spencer Stuart. On this day, we asked fathers of daughters everywhere to pledge themselves to achieving greater gender equality in the workplace – the future workplace of their daughter. For fathers this presents an ideal opportunity to commit to improving workplace culture for your daughter and celebrate modern fatherhood.
We are thrilled that over 6,000 people have taken our unconscious bias test so far and many have taken pledges. There is still time to complete the test – it is never too late to commit to micro-actions which will challenge implicit bias in the workplace.
